Content Manager

We're looking for a Content Manager to join our Marketing team at MagicSquare. Candidates enthusiastic about providing high-quality content to MagicSquare (existing and prospective) users are encouraged to apply.

The ideal candidate is adaptable, self-motivated, and a strong communicator with a thorough understanding of the cryptocurrency and blockchain industries; can edit clear, concise copy under time constraints; and, ideally, has managed cross-regional teams. Your work will impact how the world perceives MagicSquare because of our global reach.

What You'll Do

  • Serve as the point of contact for all content initiatives
  • Create effective briefs and manage a team of freelance writers and contributors
  • Make quality content that educates and inspires our user community, attracts new audiences and improves lead generation and conversion rates by editing, polishing, proofreading, and publishing a wide range of content, including contributor content
  • Preserve brand, quality, and tone of voice standards across all published content. Work closely with cross-functional teams such as SEO, social media, product, operations, legal, and compliance
  • To ensure a consistent tone of voice and content output across global and local channels, create and implement content guidelines/playbooks
  • Evaluate content performance, traffic, conversions, and user journey mapping to inform content strategy
  • Use inbound and content marketing tools and strategies to achieve business goals
  • Scale content output, manage the content department's budget and resource allocation
  • Use a third-party agency to collaborate on website design and development

Who you are

  • 5+ years of experience in editorial and content management
  • Experience managing teams, ideally a cross-regional team
  • Understand the fundamentals of cryptocurrencies and blockchain. An understanding of economics, finance, trading, or banking is advantageous
  • Keen interest in the field of cryptocurrency and financial markets
  • A strong sense of ownership and responsibility, as well as strategic and logical thinking skills and the ability to make well-informed decisions
  • English proficiency (native or fluent)
  • Clear, precise, and unambiguous writing style, as well as the ability to produce content quickly
  • Internal communication, project management, and organizational skills are all essential
  • Working in a global environment is a plus, as is knowledge of SEO, content marketing, digital marketing, email marketing, and integrated marketing
  • It's a plus if you have a bachelor's degree or higher in English, journalism, marketing, or a related field.
