The development timeline for Low Life Forms began with intensive research and prototyping between 2019 and 2021. By late 2022, the game had completed internal playtesting and launched its first teaser campaign. A key milestone was the release of The Lowlifes 0.G NFT collection, which sold out quickly and generated excitement around the project.

In 2023, the game moved into the closed alpha phase, with exclusive access provided to early NFT holders. The team plans to open a closed beta in Q1 2024, leading up to a more public early access phase in mid-2024. The full release of the game’s first episode is slated for Q3 2024.

The core team at Right Trigger boasts extensive experience in the gaming industry, having worked on several successful AAA franchises before founding the studio. Key team members include Milton Croissant, also known as MrCroissant, Isaiah Hastings, referred to as White Rabbit, and Alex Crovella, nicknamed Janitor. Each brings a wealth of expertise in game design, narrative development, and blockchain integration.

The team's mission is to create a new kind of gaming experience that combines the best of traditional gaming mechanics with the opportunities presented by blockchain technology. The game has been actively testing its core features in closed alpha playtests, which ran throughout 2023. These sessions, called “Shady Hotel Room Playtests,” were exclusively available to early NFT holders. Starting in Q1 2024, the game will open its closed beta, inviting more players to experience and provide feedback on the game.
